Adjustments for Buy Shipping on Amazon
Hi everyone,
I am sure I am not the only one terribly frustrated with Amazon Buy Shipping 'adjustments' that I receive on a daily basis. They range from .01 to $15 or more and seller support offers NO HELP. I ask for policies and procedures, they regurgitate the same policy link which provides ZERO actual clarity or help. I went further to ask for the official policy on how to see what the adjustment is and how to dispute and the agent said I sent your dispute up to be completed (no change to submit evidence or anything, I have video of every package that goes out). Over that past 6 months this has cost me thousands of dollars and Amazon does not help nor seem to care. Has anyone actually received help and is anyone considering legal action? Every conversation with Amazon goes the same way - they charged us, we charged you, deal with it there is nothing you can do.

Do the numbers.
Are you ahead of the game using Amazon buy-shipping and paying and paying again for the same label?
Or is it time to stop using Amazon buy-shipping.
One point: do you use UPS as your primary shipper? Do you have your own UPS account tied into Amazon buy-shipping?

Just an update for anyone who is seeing this post - I have continued to try to work with Amazon and they finally just told me to talk to the carrier myself. As suspected the carrier responded saying we could absolutely get credit for the adjustments based on what evidence I submitted, but Amazon being the shipper of record they are the only ones that can request it, be refunded, and then they would credit me. I sent my entire April log to them requesting backup, was told the internal team would review. This is such an unfair way to treat sellers....
In other news I believe I have found a way to get the same rates from UPS through an alternative service, so far every label matches the price Amazon quotes. It also allows for control of the disputes in real time and they have agents that actually read and respond to your questions - I know that sounds crazy based on what we get from Amazon but it is true! I will post updates once I have more info from Amazon on the case I have as well as once testing is complete on the alternative option. This might help every seller that has these same frustrations.

Further update in case anyone finds this later:
1) Have found a solution that gives the same pricing as Amazon, working on the integrations but it appears I will not longer be bound to Amazon for these prices soon
2) 2 weeks now I have been working with Amazon agents just to get back up to explain the adjustment charges in detail, and it is still not back to me. They sent me a form to fill out for disputes but did not provide the back up yet smh.
