Amazon seller App
Does anyone use the app and does it have any features that are useful for when you are away from the office?
Im particularly interested in working out what returns have been scanned by RM / Hermes so I can issue refunds should I be away.

I’ve just had a look at the returns section on the app and for my returns all it says is Amazon label with no further info. I may be me missing something but I think you might need to access the desktop view on your phone.

How would you remotely manage returns in the scenario that you were on holiday and wanted to make sure that whats been sent back has been refunded?
In the returns report you can see what is expected. Is it a case of running the report and then checking the tracking? Or perhaps theres another way?

If you click into the return there’s a refund button at the bottom so I think you can do it but I’ve never tried

Thanks - does that tell you if the parcel has been physically received at your business address?

I guess Im going to have to run the return report and the loop through the tracking numbers and see which ones show delivered. Some people take weeks to return an item so it’s an inefficient solution. Perhaps its feature Amazon should implement.

Like so many apps that large companies make, it’s just a watered-down version of the website that’s actually frustrating to use. The features you need/are used to, just aren’t there.

I use it 24/7 to monitor sales/notifications/campaigns etc, it’s very useful in that regard.

Has anyone got any ideas on how they would remotely manage refunds for returns?
In the old days when we were in control of the returns we would simply ask people to delay sending stuff back.
The issue is that we have a queue of returns but many of them are never returned… but some could turn up at random a day weeks later.
I just want to make sure the customers are refunded the same day their parcel arrives without taking hours of admin time.

This is something that is missing with Amazon software - they track packages going out, and give loads of reports, but have not yet managed to sort the returns in the same manner. It would be very usefull to have this information, especially with the amount of Hermes parcels that go missing and never make it back.
