Being charged for promotions that I am NOT running.

I ran promotions for one month in December and to date, I am still being charged for promotions I am NOT RUNNING. I started a case on the advertising side and as expected, they told me to open a case on the seller support side. Of course, when start All Over Again with a new ticket with screenshots etc. with Seller support, they answer back with "contact advertising". SO TYPICAL! Nothing is resolved and nothing is being done about it. I'm still being charged every two weeks and it's totaling over $550 at this point.

I have opened two cases on the support side and both have been "transferred" into the transferred black hole where no one is ever heard from again.

14694018191 advertising telling me it’s not their problem

14693888281 transferred by support side

Hello @Seller_F68v7s55WcB6X

This is Roberto. Thank you for posting your question to the Forums.

I have looked into recent Orders in your account and found that these promotions are Discounts Provided by Amazon. More specifically, non-prime customers will get the opportunity to select Free shipping after a certain threshold in their cart values.

If Free shipping is selected, we apply a charge for the shipping and then a credit in the form of a rebate. This credit is in the form of a rebate, equal to the initial shipping charge.

  • Can I opt out of the Discounts Provided by Amazon program for specific ASINs only?

You, as a seller, can opt out of the Discounts Provided by Amazon program at an account level by contacting Selling Partner Support and specifically ask to opt-out of this program.

Hope this helps.

Roberto
