Someone's claiming exclusivity to a brand ive purchased to sell
Hes the message from "c" (no offical name or title)

noticed that you are currently listing *****
under the ASIN B*******
Kindly note that this product is exclusive to the
brand, and your listing is unauthorized.
As a courtesy, we are providing you with an
opportunity to remove your listing voluntarily
within the next 24 hours to avoid potential policy
violations or escalations. Please be aware that all
sellers who previously ignored this email received
a policy violation and were subsequently removed.
We would prefer to resolve this matter amicably
without the need for formal action. Please confirm

and your cooperation
Thank you for understanding.
Which i responded and stated basically to prove your exclusive and ill remove my products and gpt the response
Dear ********,
Your request for documentation is completely
inappropriate. ****** is the rightful owner of
the brand, and it is explicitly stated on the website
that they do not authorize third-party sellers. It is
your responsibility, as a seller on Amazon, to verify
proper authorization before listing any products
This is a clear violation of ****** intellectual
property, and no further justification or proof
is required from us. You are instructed to
immediately delete your listing of ******
products under ASIN ******. Failure
to comply will result in the escalation of this
case through Amazon's intellectual property
enforcement system, which may lead to the
deactivation of your seller account
No further discussion on this matter is necessary
Please confirm that the listing has been removed
without delay . We will file trademark violation
today
Btw it doesnt say that on there website it says
"for distribution, we manage everything internally and don’t work with any independent third-party distributors for wholesale purposes."
They later go on to say the do sell to other retails including where i purchased from
Any advice on how to proceed

Does the name of the person messaging you related to any other sellers on that listing?
Personally I don't feel like this is very professional messaging you out the blue and that they have not gone through the official channels. The person surely needs to tell you who they are and where they are from otherwise anyone could state they work on behalf of a company, just to scare other sellers away from the listing.
Just to confirm, your items have been bought from a legitimate wholesaler who is authorised to sell the brand to marketplace sellers?
Is it just you on the listing or is there any other sellers?

post.not atall it was a message "from a customer" just called "c", didnt seem official to me either
Seller_evYvp3zn7Ix93
It was purchased from a retailer which states on there website is one that they use to distribute the products

Regardless of the message received, to sell on Amazon you MUST purchase products from a wholesaler NOT a retail shop.
The video link below may be useful;
Invoices for Selling Applications
The retailers will have contracts/agreements with Lego to sell the products within their stores. Buying from these retail stores does not mean that you have also agreed to these terms, as you are a customer NOT the retail store.

oh shoot, really? How do people sell using online arbitrage if thats the case?
ive emailed the company directly to get confirmation on this issue
Seller_VUcjClrPIVFRy
Yes, it is in the terms for selling on Amazon and if caught then your account could get banned in the worse case scenerio.
There are plenty of online gurus which say online arbitrage is great for making money but wait until they get caught out, then the retail receipts will be invalid. You will then have no place to sell the stock and your account banned. Many people do get away with this method for some time and make money from it however it is very risky. I would personally stay well clear of the online arbitrage method and buy from wholesalers if you are wanting to sell on Amazon.
The company being Lego? I am not sure how they would respond, they do not offer invoices for retail customers. They are also likely to just confirm that they only sell at certain retail stores.

post.thanks for that information, luckily i mainly do wholesale. Just saw a good opportunity, the company being the company of the item in question. Ive asked them if someone has exclusivity to their products

”They later go on to say the do sell to other retails including where i purchased from”
You purchased from a retailer, not a wholesaler.

Tell them that you are happy to comply with the following 2 documents, letter from their legal department explaining why you can not sell on Amazon. A letter from the brand owner (if its them with which legal authority ) have they registered it with

I have had similar in the past. In my opinion they are trying to get you to stop selling this item. If they were legitimate they would have just gone directly to Amazon. I believe that they are just sending out threatening emails in the hope that they will scare off a few sellers. I would report them to Amazon. Tell Amazon that you don't believe that they are genuine and they are threatening you and your livelihood. I have done this in the past and I have on some occasions received a response from Amazon agreeing with me and telling me that they have acted accordingly. I would also message them back telling them that they you have reported them to Amazon.
