ASIN B09DGFY58N - Incorrect Removal Due to Dimethicone, No Manual Review Possible

Hello,

I’m a long-time seller and I’ve run into a major issue I can’t resolve through the normal channels.

My listing for Mederma PM Intensive Overnight Cream – ASIN B09DGFY58N was removed for allegedly containing a restricted ingredient — dimethicone.

This is clearly an error. Dimethicone is a legal, widely used skincare ingredient in the UK, found in hundreds of over-the-counter products.

I’ve appealed multiple times through the Account Health page and have only received the same automated reply over and over. It states that Amazon used “automated means” to make the decision — but no one from Compliance has manually reviewed the case.

To make things worse, Amazon has previously sold this exact product — so this action is not only incorrect but inconsistent.

I have also tried escalating through executive channels and support, but I continue to be bounced back to the same broken loop.

Can a moderator please escalate this internally to the correct compliance or policy team for a proper review? I simply want someone to manually assess the listing and clarify the issue.

Thank you

"Can a moderator please escalate this internally "

The ONLY way a moderator will see your post is if you tag them in to your message - they will not see it if you don't, as they do not read every thread. Also, they usually need you to have opened a case with Seller Support and quote the case ID for them to look into it. Your next step would then possibly be emailing the MD.
