The Sponsored Ad Credit - Is it all up front or do you just get a discount on your ad while it runs

So, Amazon is offering $500 toward sponsored ads. Does anyone know how they apply this $500 credit? Do you get to use it up front until you've used up $500 worth of the ad service? Or do they just charge you less than usual, taking the balance off the credit until the $500 credit is used up?

Hello @Seller_1WMmYNbN59LR0

The amount would be credited to your sponsored ads account. As you incur costs for pay per click the amount will be drawn down.
