not quite sure what you mean ?you only have to invoice business customers or anyone else who asks for one

hi there, I believe i have a similar issue. I created my seller central account on my personal name for professional account. My seller ID is also my personal ID. the reason of this was, initially i wanted to know how does Amazon work or does it actually work .
You get the option of attaching the legal company until you reach up to the sale of £15000 for UK market.
I submit my 1st invoice inventory for approval to sell on Amazon. ON the invoice my personal name , (1st and last name) is mentioned along with the address where my seller central account is registered.,
as well as my Distributor representative account number on the invoice. After submitting that i got the reply within 8 min, which i will mention below,
“The document provided includes information that does not match your selling account. Please provide an invoice that reflects your business name and address.”
Did you receives such reply when you start selling your product on Amazon?

Hi . I have been selling on Amazon for 7 weeks now and I was confused by the invoicing part as well. Correct me if I am wrong people please, You only invoice a Business, 2 reasons they want one. One for their records, second to claim back the VAT. So, being as I am not VAT registered yet, I still send an invoice but make sure I put on there that I am not VAT registered.
Also, like I say I have been selling for 7 weeks now and I have only just received a payment (£80) out of £1,200, the rest is in the reserve pot. Which I think sucks, but it’s apparently typical, and you get your money eventually (I hope). So, just a heads up.

I have been selling on Amazon for years and have never uploaded an invoice unless a customer specifically asks for one, which I think has happened twice in 6 years

Not sure why I have been sent this?
I have not been asked for invoices, and if I am I send them without delay.
I sell cosmetics and make-up so get very few orders from business customers because of what I sell, so why am I getting threatened with action on my account?

I think he wants to know where his funds are, and does he need to send invoice to AMZ to get paid.
That’s my take on it.
