Proofreading my Plan of Action

Hi there! I'll start off by giving as much brief context as I can. I am a new seller that has made a very, very big mistake. Like many, I've fallen for the dropshipping gurus online in a "Too good to be true" situation. In the end, my account ended up incurring a suspension for merchant fulfilled orders and my payments have been halted for justifiable reasons. Here's the message I've received below:

Hello [SELLER],

We received your submission but do not have enough information to transfer

funds to you and reactivate your seller-fulfilled offers at this time.

Funds will not be transferred to you during the review but will stay in

your account. To expedite the review of your selling account, please send

the following information:

-- Evidence and an explanation that demonstrates how your account complies

with our Drop Shipping policy and Seller Code of Conduct.

-- If you are facing logistics issues that are impacting proper

fulfillment of your orders, provide reasons and supporting evidence

associated with these for consideration during your review.

How do I send the required information?

You can submit this information by clicking “Submit new information” on

the banner at the top of your Account Health page and provide the

information requested above:

[URL]

As a reminder, all sellers are expected to adhere to the Amazon Services

Business Solutions Agreement and Seller Code of Conduct when listing

products on Amazon.

The Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement () and the Seller Code of Conduct

(https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/G1801) requires that sellers act fairly and

honestly on Amazon to ensure a safe buying and selling experience. Amongst

other requirements, the Code of Conduct states that all sellers must:

-- Provide accurate information to Amazon and our customers at all times.

-- Act fairly and not misuse Amazon features or services.

What happens if I do not send a sufficient explanation?

If we can confirm that you have not violated the Drop Shipping policy, the

review period will end and we will reactivate your seller-fulfilled orders

and automatically release funds for disbursement. If we do not find

sufficient evidence confirming your fulfillment methods during this

period, further action may be taken and your entire Amazon account may be

permanently deactivated. You will receive an email following the review to

let you know what action has been taken.

I'd like to further disclaim that I completely side with Amazon and their justifications and take accountability for all actions I made as a seller so far. I should have read their dropshipping policy with much further skepticism and have avoided it at any costs. Since dropshipping withholds much control over shipping fulfillment (or really all fulfillment) it's pretty easy to understand how out of control consistent shipping performance can get. As of this violation, I have completely vowed to stop dropshipping due to its poor sustainability.

Per a week of research, contacting an online lawyer for consultation, and contacting an online Amazon Health Account specialist, my options seem to point me to drafting a "Plan of Action". I have many questions regarding this and was wondering if this was the right place for constructive criticism. Here's the draft below:

-->

Dear Amazon Account Health Team,

My name is [MY NAME], owner of the [MY STORE] store on Amazon. I am writing this letter to admit and take responsibility for all inappropriate actions and policy violations that have taken effect/suspicion on my account. I hope through my attached evidence and detailed plan of action (POA) that you may reconsider any account deactivation measures that I may incur via your authority.

What Did I Do Wrong?

·      Dropshipping Policy Violation

o  I am unable to submit sufficient evidence that I have not violated the dropshipping policy.

o    My suppliers (Aliexpress Retail) are not verified suppliers and are unreliable and unaware of my intentions with their products. As a result, these suppliers will not ship these items under my Amazon store details, directly violating the Dropshipping Policy

·      Very High Late Shipment Rate

o    For more than a month, I have consistently retained a LSR rating of almost 20%. This is an extremely inappropriate rating; well above the 4% maximum threshold indicated on the Account Health page.

o    Due to my unverified suppliers, I frequently have not been able to guarantee timely shipments.

If there are any issues I could possibly be forgetting, please do not hesitate to inform me. I accept any and all responsibility for my poor performance as a new Amazon seller. Customer satisfaction is a top priority; which is why strict cooperation is a must as a seller. I have the utmost respect for your policies and have every intention to obey and follow the provided guidelines.

Instead of only making verbal promises, I’d like to illustrate a Plan of Action and elaborate what I’ve done so far to prevent this issue from ever happening again in the future. My biggest focus is to maximize customer satisfaction and overall performance.

Long-Term Preventative Measures

·      Eliminating All Dropshipping Practices

o    In order to have better control over my fulfillment methods, eliminating my flawed dropshipping business model will be necessary; as I would not be able to provide customers with the best experience.

·      Exclusively fulfilling orders with FBA

o    Utilizing your offered fulfillment services will allow me to provide the best experiences for buyer. I will not be fulfilling my own orders through Amazon. This should effectively eliminate any shipping issues in the future.

What I’ve Done So Far

Deleted All Merchant Fulfilled Amazon Listings

All listings that aren’t fulfilled by Amazon have been deleted from my account.

·      Re-read Amazon Service Business Solutions Agreement and Seller Code of Conduct

o    Upon re-reading these agreements, I will be taking much more careful consideration to any actions I perform through Amazon.

·      Quoted new inventory for an existing Amazon FBA Listing created

o    For the following ASIN: [ASIN]

o    I will order 50 units from my supplier and have obtained written permission to resell these items.

I’d like to reiterate my utmost respect once again for your policies and regulations in place. I have a full understanding as to why these policies are important, let alone the justification for my current suspension. I sincerely hope that this appeal can accurately portray to your team my desire to improve and sell once again on your platform.

Thank you,

[MY NAME]

-->

Now for some general questions.

First, I've noticed through some research that the review team seems to favor shorter POA's? I'd just like to know if what I've provided is too long. I want to make sure it's easy to read.

Second, For the last list of actions, I'm struggling to figure out ways to prove my future compliance Amazon. I just feel this field is pretty vague, but I've also learned that Amazon prioritizes actions done to prevent these issues from coming up again rather than reasonings/explanations.

Third, is this the right response to my suspension? I've been told my the account health specialist and the free consultation that this is the next course of action. And I figured it would be better to admit to all of my mistakes since I'm sure Amazon is already aware of my mishaps.

Anything else I should add/remove? Also, I apologize for the strange format. This was pasted from a much better formatted Word document. It will not look like this upon submission.

I also very well understand the severity of this situation and would like to reiterate my genuine respect for Amazon and its prioritization towards its customers. It makes sense to me and I really hope I can keep pioneering my early entrepreneurship strategies through them. I understand fully that this could easily not go my direction and I can completely lose my Amazon seller account. I just hope that Amazon can give me one more chance.

Greetings GIBSON,

Thank you for reaching out about your appeal. I understand you're looking for guidance on how we can assist with the process.

Appeals and reviews are handled directly by the platform's internal review team, which is outside of the typical scope of support here at Seller Forums. Amazon has a dedicated team that is responsible for making the final determination on appeal outcomes.

Unfortunately here we don't have any special insight or ability to predict how they will rule on your particular appeal. The review is conducted by a human reviewer on their end, and their decision will be based on the details and merits of your specific case.

To increase the chances of a favorable outcome, I'd suggest providing as much detailed information as possible in your appeal. This could include a thorough explanation of your issue, attach any supporting documentation, and a clear rationale for why you believe the original decision should be reconsidered. Be sure to also include specifics on how the appeals process will be handled, by whom, the reasoning behind it, the expected timelines, and any relevant training or procedures involved.

Please let me know if you have any other questions I can assist with, within the limitations of what I'm able to do here at Seller Forums. I'm committed to providing whatever helpful guidance I can.

The forums community and I are committed to assisting you. Feel free to share how we can support you moving forward.

I wish you all the best,

-Nikki

UPDATE ON SITUATION!!

This appeal was rejected unfortunately. I ended up contacting another Amazon Health Specialist via Phone and asked for more advise. Interestingly, the specialist advised me to write a MUCH LONGER plan of action; which is contradictory to every other online resource I've researched. He told me to include as many details as possible regarding a business plan, reasons for committing my actions, and just much more details in general with hyperlinks as well.

At this point, I'd just like to ask if that's good advise? Should my appeal be roughly 8+ pages long? (Also advised from the same representative) Anyone have an opinion?

-->

Thank you,

[MY NAME]
