what is the point in reporting they never get corrected. You go round in circles for several months before you either sell out of the goods through other sales channels or you give up trying and again sell through sales channels.

The problem is not that sellers do not know how to report the problem the problem is that nothing is ever done when reported the only way for 3rd party sellers to fix is to delete the product(s) your brand registry is a good idea on paper but your execution of it is a total shambolic mess

“Your feedback is invaluable and we’re committed to improving the seller experience for all of our partners “

Is probably the most insulting thing that Amazon put into any cut and paste considering that Amazon stopped listening to sellers in January 2017 and the contempt and hostility that Amazon has towards its third party sellers

Brand name changes are ridiculous, Amazon should not change a brand name in the first place.

The Chinese seem expert in circumventing any controls (if there are any). Seller Support certainly do not understand. We own the GS1 barcodes, and yet the brand has changed to something silly on a number of our listings.

Hi @Julia_Amzn,

I got same issue which never resolved over months so I left it there. Just went through this discussion post and created a new case.

This is my Complaint ID: 11319084962

My previous case ID: 11100990422 for the same issue and may have other case IDs as it took 4-6 months in vain.

Can you look into it please

Thanks

Indeed - if its linked to an EAN, which lest we forget HAS to come from GS1 - the brand should frankly either pull the brand data from GS1, or at least check the data in GS1.

The crux of all this is....

How can someone change a brand, then the brand owner be told it is impossible to change it. What are you doing to fix this Amazon, because 'actively working with internal teams' is a do nothing statement.

Worth noting that when you have trouble with a brand change that we use our deep AMZ Knowledge and give the correct keywords to circumvent the AI support instant rejection.

You need to make it clear to the bots that you want to fix / correct the brand name that has been maliciously changed or corrupted. (Along with your GS1 screenshots / dates / Products shots)

What you definitely are not trying to do is change the brand name.

Most of the people on here will know this, but if anybody new is reading this - always look at the cryptic/vague/nebulas reply the bots give you and try and read between the lines. If what they are saying is X then try and imagine what Y is. Seems obvious now, but that's how I worked out change was a trigger.

Obviously I use AI/Bot interchangeably with cut/past/boilerplate scripts too.

can you please tell me how a product chan change its brand, if so, how can I change my ford car to a vauxhall, stupidity isn't it. A brand is a Brand and CANNOT CHANGE unless the barcode register is changed. so why do you allow it in the first place.
