UPS Ground Saver Adjustments
Was just wondering if UPS Ground Saver shipments are still experiencing virtually every package to get an Amazon price adjustment (and, obviously, not in my favor)?
Maybe a 1-2 months or so ago, I started to use UPS Ground Saver, as the prices were favorable for many smaller packages. However, nearly every package shipped this way, got an adjustment later on, for $.50 - $2.00 or so, making that favorable rate, not so much anymore...
I don't know if this was an Amazon or UPS glitch, or that nearly every single one of my packages were dimensionally adjusted, that caused this price adjustment...all I know is that I ship the same exact way when using USPS Ground Advantage, or USPS Priority, or UPS Ground, and none of these packages get adjusted.
So, anyone else have this experience? If so, has the above issue been resolved, or is this just a 'me' thing?

Oh, and just a little more information. I ship these same packages using UPS Ground Saver (for off-Amazon orders), using PirateShip, and never once any adjustments...

Greetings @Seller_VFwhqdtFEo1gS,
I have seen a few threads mentioning adjustments via Group Saver shipments in the past months. There are three main reasons you may incur a carrier shipping correction charge for seller-fulfilled orders:
1. The dimensions, weight, or both, for the product are incorrect.
If the product that is shipped to the customer has physical attributes that don’t match your product listing or the item that was shipped, you will be charged or credited for the difference in cost between the label that you bought and the correct label cost.
Similarly, if the product that is returned by the customer has physical attributes that don’t match your product listing or the item that was shipped, you will be charged or credited for the difference in cost between the label that you bought and the correct label cost.
2. Your return address is incorrect or invalid. If your return address is undeliverable, the carrier charges an $18 fee for every package that could not be returned. Your return address must be in the same country as the store that you sell in, and must accept return packages.
3. Unqualified item. The carrier determined that a shipping service was purchased for a product that does not qualify for that shipping service.
4. Differences between Amazon Buy Shipping and Carrier Rates. There may be a difference between the amount calculated by Amazon Buy Shipping and the correct carrier charge. The adjusted rate is the accurate rate for the shipment at the time it was purchased, and a corresponding debit or credit will be applied to your account.
5. Manual Audit surcharge. Carriers charge a monthly per-package surcharge that was manually audited either during outbound or return shipping.
I recommend reading through this page for more information on how to view this adjustments in greater detail, and how they are calculated.
