Chargeback claims for FBA Order / Order Defect Rate

Hello everyone!

I received Chargeback claims for an Amazon FBA order.

This affected the Order Defect Rate of my account.

1. I have not received any notifications about this case either by e-mail or in the seller center.

2. Did not receive any messages or claims from the buyer.

3. No Appeal Buttons to Dispute the Case.

Please tell me how to deal with this situation.

Good afternoon @Seller_0T8pfuAnk7mwR,

My first recommendation would be to open a case with Seller Support to requesting further information. They may be limited in what they can share regarding the chargeback, but section in the Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement on chargebacks may shed light on the issue:

  • You are responsible for chargebacks filed against your account for service-related reasons, such as non-receipt of the product.
  • Amazon is responsible for any payment-related fraud chargebacks, such as stolen credit cards or other payment fraud attempts.

If it's impacting your ODR, it may have been service-related, but again start with Seller Support to see what they can verify. Let me know if you run into roadblocks there!

Would you mind sharing the case number? I'd be happy to review and determine if there are options for escalation.
