DISGUSTING CUSTOMER

We sold a Pokemon card to a customer for £30. Customer, upon receiving the card, took it our of protective packaging and opened a return. Today we received his return, except that there is NO PACKAGING. He stuck the return lable on the card !! THIS IS INSANITY. I don't know if this guy just wanted to punish us or make us angry by doing something gross like this.

PLEASE HELP. I'm speechless. Amazon auto authorised his retun and refund is pending.

Amazon seller support is so useless and they jsut read out what's in front of them. I sent them a photo attached in the chat but she still sent me some robotic reply after 20 min of holding

"Thank you for staying connected

Sometimes, buyers mistakenly return a different item than the one that they purchased from you. If this happens, contact the buyer to do the following:

1. Let them know that they may have accidentally returned the wrong item

2. Ask them if they would like you to return the item to them. Inform them that they can return the correct item for a refund.

3. If the buyer indicates that they would like the wrong item back, consider sending it back to them. If the buyer indicates that they received the wrong item initially, consider giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Assuming it is FBM take photos of the return and raise a safe-t claim.

If Amazon find in your favour then they will reimburse you. You may though not get the full value of the sale back.

This is the process you should be following. Emailing Seller Support will not resolve this.

Check here

open a Safe T claim they will refund some amount to you, not always what is worth it sometimes they refund sily amount.

Before opening return always take picture of label , packaging and condition for a proof.

That's just spiteful on behalf of the customer. I had something similar when a customer wanted a refund without returning the item. They punched a hole in it, ensuring it couldn't be resold.

it is getting so difficult to make a living here. I suspect it is because Amazon offer the option of returning the item with no packaging and the customer thinks that means they can open up the item and just return the item. I have had video games returned with the shrink wrap removed and the postage label stuck onto the game, I suspect for the same reasons. I am amazed the game actually made its way backj to me, but it was so damaged it was useless to me. It's soul destroying. As others suggest best chance is part compensation via SAFE T.

If anyone from Amazon is reading - can I ask why you offer the option for customers to return without any packaging? It destroys the packaging making the item worthless to the seller in many instances. It's really not difficult to ask a customer to package the item in protective packaging of some sort.....

Hello @Seller_s6uJP8k1ziAXm,

Did you contact the buyer? You can do so in your Menu > Orders > Manage Returns. If so, what was the response?

Or have you appealed the refund? Let me know if I can help.

Regards, Spencer
