Amazon bought EVRI labels - Claim/Compensation

Hello Ladies & Gents,

Is there a way to put in a claim for lost/damaged deliveries with EVRI bought via Amazon. I assume there’s a £20 insurance included?

I’m guessing you have to put a claim directly with EVRI not Amazon?

Many thanks,

Its complicated. I assume its similar to the pre-paid return labels issue where they are Evri labels but technically, the name on the account is Amazon.

So, yes there is a £20 coverage, the issue is if you contact EVRI, they will say that you need to claim via amazon as the account attached to the label is amazon. Then amazn will say to contact EVRI.

Apparently, some sellers have got somewhere by writing to Evri head office, and others have contacted Grattan PLC customer services (Grattan PLC is the name on the invoices for any EVRI labels).

As a note on all of this - no one from Amazon (customer service, forum mods) seems to know or care about this issue.

There was an email address for hermes that was posted on the forum a few months ago that other sellers had success with in getting compensation. I don’t know if it still works now they are Evri, but i’d imagine at least it’d bounce with the new address.

I never had any success (I was told it was Amazon, Amazon said speak to Evri (or Hermes at the time)…so moved away to Parcel2Go where you actually can claim & speak to someone or live chat. We then moved to Yodel which appear to be better, slightly slower. & you can increase the insurance, anything more than £50 we use Yodel direct . You can keep track of deliveries better too. I was told insurance wasn’t included (at the time) when bought via Amazon. Can’t comment if it’s a pre-paid return.

Likely Jessica removed it, she did when I posted one :stuck_out_tongue:. I did get a response once, I was once given a link to a form which didn’;t exist and then they never replied!
