Adding Products Via Upload

I am trying to add product via upload, but not able to generate the template.
This is my first attempt to add product via upload. Do I need any approval from Amazon?

I am trying as following -

Add product via upload
I
Step 1 - Select type of product you want to sell.
I
Step 2- Select Marketplace
I
Step 3 - Select the type of template
(selecting Advance)

It should be pretty straight forward, but don’t know why the template is not generating.
Am is missing something here?

Have you been attached to the brand to enable you to sell it by Amazon?

Has your account been fully verified usually takes 3-5 months

Hi Peter
Responding to your highlights, I think when you select the product, I don’t think it has anything to do with the Brand. You need to select the the category>sub category>final product.
Also, my account is fully verified as I am doing business with Amazon for a few years now.

Hi.

It’s far easier to ignore all of those steps and do this instead.

On the Download An Inventory File tab scroll right to the bottom.
Under Step 3 at the very bottom click on Inventory Files. This opens a list of file types.
Choose your file type to download from the 3rd column - most likely the first one, “category-specific inventory files”.
Follow the instructions
