Account Deactivated for ASIN creation policies
This is the message I received as to why my account has been deactivated. I have been unable to get them to identify any specific product. I used to use Channel Advisor to manage my listings but have not done so in the past couple of months. I have made no changes to the catalog itself. It wants me to provide Evidence that shows that your account complies with our variation policy. What evidence are they looking for?
We have deactivated your account because you created one or more ASIN variations that violate our ASIN Creation policies. Selling partners may not:
-- Change the product’s detail page (parent or child) to become fundamentally different from the original product listed.
-- Change the parent product's detail page so it does not match the children.
-- Add incorrect child variations that are not true variations of the parent product.
-- Add multi-pack variations that are not manufacturer created to an already existing parent.

I have the same problem!
Deactivated May 10th and its been a nightmare
Im a long time seller with good account health
Now all of my inventory is in stranded mode and all asins are no longer part of any variation
When I read the variation policy, I understand i have been in compliance: i produce printed paper tape in different widths, colors and patterns. But i keep re reading the policy and its really up to interpretation. What does it really mean the items must not be fundamentally different?

Hi there @Seller_0Pd7Mgbteq0KZ,
Thank you for utilizing the seller forums.
I understand you have questions regarding the ASIN creation policy and your account.
When was the last time you utilized ChannelAdviser? Is there anyone else who works on your selling account, who could have made any updates to your listing?
If you have not already, I suggest comparing the child ASIN to the parent to see what information could be non-compliant with the above policy and to ensure the variation relationship is valid. Once you have validated this information, you will want to provide evidence of this in a new submission on your account health page.
If you find that the there has been a violation to the policy, you will want to provide the root cause of why and how the child ASIN did not properly reflect a valid parent-to-child relationship, how you are correcting the issue, and a thorough list of preventative measures to guard against the same issue as you move forward. Think "What changes can I implement in my business to ensure violations will no longer occur?"
If you need further assistance or have any further relevant information, please continue to conversation here! The forums community and I are here to support you.
All the best,
Stevie.
