Tax Information Verification Issue – INFORM CONSUMER ACT BUG

Hi everyone,

I’m encountering an issue where my tax verification status still shows as "In Progress," even though all my other information has been successfully verified. It’s been several days now, and my account continues to display the warning "Your account is at risk of deactivation."

I submitted a Case ID: 17245087671, but I haven’t received any update or resolution. After browsing the forum, I’ve noticed that many other sellers are experiencing the same issue, which seems like it could be a widespread bug.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, has anyone received a reply from Amazon support or managed to resolve the issue? I’d really appreciate any insight or advice on how to move forward.

As you mentioned you received a warning that the account was at risk of deactivation, understanding that this can be rather stressful situation I have looked further into your concerns. Through working with our review teams and the provided case I do see that you are experiencing the same situation many others are with the tax ID appearing at in progress, while also being verified. I have shared your situation and information with the concerned teams to review the situation further and take any necessary actions.

I was advised that the account should now be fully compliant with the INFORM compliance requirements. Additionally all banners and requests should have been removed due to this. if you are continuing to see any banners or requirements for the INFORM process to please reach back out so I can continue to work with the appropriate teams on a resolution.
