How to get customer to repay for the order that is refunded?

Order was delayed delivery due to bad weather in the area and therefore customer insteaded for the refund rather waiting for couple of days. However, on the day of the refund the customer received the delivery and now we need them to repay for the order.

What is the easiest and hassle free way for them to repay? When I asked them to call customer services to make the repayment it is too much of a hassle for them.

@Angie_Amazonplease help.

Customer Services should be the way to go, BUT they usually just tell the customer to accept as a 'good will gesture' and never do actually retro-charge their card, even if they say they will !. If the customer is agreeable, you could potentially ask them to re-order the item and not actually send it, but that could still have knock-on effects to your account. There is no other way that I can think of.

My suggestion is you send them a message with details of how to pay you now it has arrived, you could offer a slight discout as good will too. I am sure most decent people will see that as reasonable.

Hello @Seller_p940Jehgj1NWn,

As mentioned by some of your colleagues, the way to go is asking the buyer to contact customer service and request to be charged for the order again.

You can also ask the buyer if they would rather return the product and keep their money if that is a good option for you.

Regards,
