Please stick with your original post-the answers will be the same-You cannot sell Cerave on Amazon.

Also, Target gives you receipts, not invoices.

Amazon assumes you already have brand approval before requesting to list a product.

Meaning you need a LOA from the brand directly to sell this product.

A ton of brands are doing this right now because they do not want any 3-P sellers.

Also, if you purchased it with a gift card it is definitely a receipt you have.

That wasn't a mistake on Amazon's part. Respectfully, it was a mistake on yours. You cannot buy products from a retail store and resell them on Amazon. you need approval from the brand owner (in this case Cerave) in order to be allowed to sell their products on Amazon. Before you do anything else, put your account on vacation mode, spend 1 to 2 weeks (yes weeks, not days) going through Seller University and Terms of Service) that way you understand Amazon's policies before you get your account permanently deactivated.

No, Amazon is correct. It was no mistake. You purchased these products from Target, who is a retailer. You need to have purchased from one of Cerave's brand authorized to you Wholesale Distributors to have a valid supply chain.

I see that your ability to follow the rules on the forum is no better than your ability to follow the rules for selling on Amazon.

Amazon made no mistake. Cerave recently became locked down; had you had actual invoices and permission to sell Cerave, you would not be in trouble.

But you never had permission, and did not properly source your inventory.

You're likely done on Amazon.

IOW, pretty much the same thing you were told 2 days ago. So stop spamming the forum, and start looking for new business opportunities; it will be a better use of your time.

The first concern you mentioned is using a gift card to purchase products, we cannot confirm you are the recipient of these products if we cannot verify you purchased them. Using a gift card makes it very difficult or even impossible in some situations to even confirm.

Additionally, as noted you purchased these from Target which is a retailer and not an authorized supplier for resale thus this may be considered an invalid supply chain for a branded product. I would advise reviewing our responsible sourcing help page for guidance on our requirements. If you purchased these online, you would have an order confirmation, and in store would only receive a receipt, as noted above these may not have the required information needed to verify compliance.

As mentioned by @Seller_eyq5Q5mIyV5gu, most situations when listing branded products it is encouraged to seek a letter of authorization directly from the brand that authorizes you to list and sell their products on amazon using their authorized supply chain. This will help ensure that you comply with our anti-counterfeiting policy.
