Vine reviews deleted after listings combined automatically by Amazon BOT
Hi all,
I have been selling on Amazon for few years now and I recently created my own brand of perfumes.
I have 14 different perfumes listed on Amazon. I created individual listings for all 14 products. I also participated in Vine service for 9 of 14 products and allotted 30 units of each for reviews. I received the reviews as expected.
In the last 2 days, Amazon BOT determined 9 listings (same as included in VINE service) are similar and automatically created a parent ASIN with 9 variations based on scent name. I have no control over the parent ASIN. However I can control the child ASINs.
The total review count (VINE + Organic) was 281 at the time of merge. Almost 260 of 281 were VINE reviews and the balance were organic which amazon approved and posted on the listings.
Yesterday, the count went down to 218, and today the count went down to 210. No idea what's happening and Amazon seller support is clueless as usual. High quality reviews with product photos got removed which amazon had previously approved and posted. In Dollar amount wiping out 60 reviews would equate to $600 of Vine service fee (including FBA fee) + the cost of 60 products itself.
Then I reached out to customer support to find out how to merge the remaining 5 listings with the same parent ASIN so I can 14 variations in total (No idea why 5 were left as-is). Again the team was clueless. they told me to delete all listings and start again!!! WOW
Overall 2 Issues:
1. Vine reviews deleted when Amazon BOT decided the listings are similar and decided to create variations without giving me control of the parent ASIN
2. How can I merge 5 existing individual listings into an existing parent ASIN (created by Amazon BOT)
Extremely frustrated and thinking of moving on from Amazon. They don't care and nor do I from now on.

Hello @Seller_idSVDsdjw0U0q,
Michelle at Amazon here. I understand that you have reviews that are no longer appearing. Do you have the case with Seller Support that I can take a look at?
Regards,
Michelle
