Liquidation with VAT exemption status

Hi peeps,

I am a new seller and want to liquidate my inventory. I recently signed up for VAT exemption as I just sold 2 units and no more but when I go to place my liquidation order amazon says that no items are available for liquidation as VAT calculation service is disabled.

P.S. I do not have VAT registration and I don’t want to sign up for it as I am already winding up my business so is there a way to get my inventory liquidated without having to register for VAT?

Kindly guide.

Thanks!

As far as I know you’d have to be VAT registered to use liquidation. I doubt it’s worth doing purely to qualify though. You could still of course find a buyer for your stock yourself away from Amazon.
