List a product search results

what did amazon do now?

A "Next Gen Selling " improvement is step backwards

the "list a product" search results are now a side bar lacking any useful information to help you discern what product you need to select

I need the UPC/EAN and the ASIN displayed as part of the results

I sell music and 30 some years at it, there are many titles that have a vast number of editions that exist.

When adding a music title, searching often involves selecting the correct edition having the UPC/EAN as part of the results is necessary

When you are adding a lager number of items that need to be looked up and searched.. this result is useless

I need relevant information up front, not buried a dozen click down a rabbit hole

What they reported is not a "unique" issue. It is now happening to every results on the List Your Products page. This update is a step backward and not very useful at all.

There was nothing wrong with the original List Your Products page before - why did Amazon have to change it?

Good to see you responding to this post. This new layout of the List Your Product search results is HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE, just plain AWFUL! Why on earth would Amazon think going from full screen results to one third screen is a remotely good idea?? Bring back the old layout PLEASE! Tell them to quit messing with the layout of things, they work without any changes.

It would be great if they would fix the Android Seller Central App - So much that doesn't work...

As always, appreciate any help you can offer here. I hope you're surviving the holiday crazy!

It's only unique because you haven't rolled it out to everyone yet. I just got the "update" today. This is perhaps one of the most useless, least productive "improvements" I have ever experienced on Amazon...and that is saying something.

Absolutely no benefit. This page is used by sellers to find an asin to list a product against. A tiny thumbnail with almost no product information is about 10% as useful as the old product search page.

Is Amazon so stripped for bandwidth that half a page for search results in a popup is somehow saving 20 mb of storage an improvement?

Not cool @Cooper_Amazon new set up strains the eyes and is so compact. Return to old style.

terrible results on a side box, this is an import feature when adding a new product, the old way with a full page and complete information was more practical, this little box on the side is time consuming and a deter to add a product

I also just created a new thread with a specific issue with how we can no longer see child variations using this new side menu.

2/3 of my screen is wasted space at this point. I spend a lot of time looking at this page. Really inefficient way of doing things now. You can only drill down once into the categories with the filter, when there's much more than that.
