Manually managing and creating listing is tricky
Why is this happening? I put so much time and effort into editing and creating listings manually, yet they sometimes disappear while I’m editing. Errors occur, commands don’t work, and the window freezes. After spending 2-3 hours on creating or editing, I often end up with just a white screen. When it’s finally time to submit, everything can vanish, ruining my work. Is manually adding listings this difficult for everyone, or is it just me? Would using templates be easier? I have a handmade account but have also created a few general Amazon listings, and I’m feeling stuck. Please advise!

Make sure you're using a compatible browser and have a stable internet connection. Also check for any known system issues on Amazon's end or contact their support. Save your work often while editing listings to prevent data loss. Lastly, Consider using third-party tools or templates (Google Sheets) to streamline the listing process. I also experience several issues when it takes plenty of time on creating a new listing. What I can advice is, work with double screen, prepare all your sources in other screen, pick your photos and order them before you click create listing button. The less time you spend on creating listing, the less problem occurs.

I have the same problems or it will give me an unfixable error at the end that doesn't make sense. I also am unable to go back in and edit listings once they are up :( So I have tons of product pages that are very unprofessional-looking from when I first started selling. I need to take a class or something (more than seller univ.) to learn the template. I consider myself slightly tech-savvy but parts of the template confuse the heck out of me. I much prefer manual but not with all the problems that come with it.

Are you on a Mac or a PC? I have good luck on a PC using Google Chrome. Other browers are glitchy. Hope this helps.

But overall, yes, creating listings manually is a long and arduous task. I have started putting all of my listing information into a Word document and copying it over to Amazon so that in case of a crash, I don't lose hours of work.

Use templates. Your work is saved in excel as you progress and click save.

You will always face this problem no matter which browser you're using, use flat file instead of manual editing
