Welcome to Amazon however, you shouldn’t be buying from a supermarket and then selling on Amazon as NEW as technically you are the first customer and your customer is then the second customer

Amazon also don’t accept receipt from retail shops

Did you have a look at the seller university pages or just youtube ?

A lot of categories and brands are locked and require sellers to go through an extra approval process. That is usually providing an invoice showing a purchase of at least 10 units from an authorised supplier.

As mentioned, you cannot buy from retail and sell on Amazon as being new - they are second-hand once they leave the retailer.

You’re probably aware that that business model is called arbitrage - either retail or online. It is a risky business model for newer sellers and i would suggest sticking with ebay for that.

Yes, just to add my agreement to the other replies - Amazon is NOT the platform to sell your supermarket/high street shop purchases.
You will at some point be asked to supply your invoices for the goods - NOT shop receipts - for Amazon to verify the line of supply.

It is highly unlikely you would make any profit either once all of Amazon’s fees have been deducted.

Just to add to what @The_Little_Shop @Demel and @JillyB1 have said, new sellers seem to be under the 3 ASIN check where Amazon will ask you for invoices and LOA (if applicable) for 3 random items you have listed. You need not have sold any just listed them. If your items have been bought from retail outlets you will fall at the first hurdle.

Presumably you are buying food. As @Demel has said, you require special approval from Amazon to sell any items of grocery and that approval is very difficult for new sellers to get. In addition, if you are running a food business (and buying goods to sell on means you are running a business) you also have to register your premises with the local council, who have the right to inspect them AND you have to comply with the Food Safety Regulations

There are other matters which will cause you problems or at least paperwork. As you are running a business, you must have a business account on Amazon, not an Individual account. You need to register as a business with HMRC (the tax office) and keep accounts that meet their requirements for assessing the tax you would have to pay

As the other sellers have advised you, what you are trying to do is really not going to work. Sorry
