how long before ipo complaints disappear from your account as recieved 4 today which i think are wrong but obviously takes time to sort out to get the complaint removed but what happens if they are right though and stay on my account how long before they go

Intellectual Property Rights Infringement Complaints will automatically disappear from your metrics after 180 days if you fail to properly address them by appealing.
But keep in mind that any unresolved complaints can trigger a suspension, anytime.

kika am i correct in thinking if the number doesnt show on the uk ipo office checks does that mean its a false complaint as i put the number in and nothing shows up

it states trademark as the complaint and gives a number that doesnt exist at the uk ipo office and there four different checks to make and comes up blank on all four of them

Has anyone had confirmed that Suspected Intellectual Property Violations adversely affect your selling metrics and lower your chances of making sales through your account?
We have had a number of these where the suspected infringement is wrong but caused by a product basically having multiple brand credentials, for instance Sesame Street, Playskool, Hasbro. It’s a nightmare, because none are wrong but you cannot list multiple brands within the Amazon system.

I’ve had ten all at once for pre recorded vhs tapes all official music concerts several of Barry Manilow!! It’s dead stock that I’m not bothered much about. But I’m told by CS they will.disappear in time. I’m not sure why the system should strike marks against innocent sellers when these items have been on Amazon’s system for ten years plus.
