Amazon deactivated my account for a product I didn't sell

Hello, on 23.02.2025 amazon deactivated my seller account because of a product I never sold. I was buying the product as the order came in, so I don't have an invoice because the order hasn't arrived yet. Immediately after my account was deactivated, I contacted the authorized seller and bought the products to be stocked and sent my invoice to amazon, but amazon did not accept this situation because the invoice was processed after the account closure. I tried to explain the situation, but no one helped. what should I do? I'm not doing dropshipping.

Responding to this type of deactivation can be confusing and frustrating. After communicating with our teams, I am able to provide some general guidance on how you may proceed.

From your Account Health Page you should see a yellow button "Submit new information".

  • Reactivate your account - hit submit new information - blue button.
  • How do I address this violation? - this is where you would select: I understand the policy and acknowledge that I do not have the requested documents, then click Next.
  • Your next choice is: I fulfill orders through a supplier and do not maintain invoices or have lost invoices for these items.

This is where you will follow the prompts and provide Future Invoices - you do need to delete the original ASIN and you need to agree to maintain invoices and valid documents to prove your items are authentic. You will provide details of the products you'll be selling in the future and you will upload your invoices. Typically you will need a minimum of 10 units for future invoices.

Before you go out and buy any other items, let's discuss what Amazon requires to prove your items are authentic. It starts with an acceptable invoice - Please review this: Invoice requirements for appealing a policy violation. Your supplier must be able to provide you with supporting documents that allow the resale of the item. See: Responsible Sourcing documentation request requirements.

Please take the time to really understand the process. Make sure you are following all the necessary steps if choosing to sell a branded product. Look into Seller University for complete guidance from preparing to sell, all the way to protecting your brand and more.

I am interested in your success. If you would like any additional guidance, you may reach back out in this thread. Please provide a relevant case ID or ASIN for details specific to your account. The Forums and I are here to support you.
