Losing profit to Ad spend
Hi, Ive been selling on amazon for about 6 months now and I have reached 10K in sales, but Im finding that mt profit margins are low because I'm on average I have to spend almost as much on ads as I am making daily. My CPC is over a dollar but my bids are low, around 30-50 cents. any suggestions, I would also like to know where I can find some sort of mentor to help with these questions I have while trying to manage this new endeavor.

Currently we are in the midst of low consumer confidence and a recession... my sales have nosedived and my ad spend as gained me zero additional sales larely.
I've been spending my extra time (which is plentiful thanks to this terrible economy) on optimizing my listings while lowering my bids on ads (or closing ads all together).
