Cheapest way to send light items tracked in the UK
Hi,
What is the cheapest postage service to use to the UK that give the Amazon valid tracking? Our items are letters and 250g large letters.
We are looking at using Royal Mail signed for which is £2.25 for a First Class letter and £3.23 for a 250g large letter.
I’m wondering if anyone has found a cheaper service?
Thanks in advance!
Amy

Are these low value items (under £20) ? - if so you do NOT need to send them tracked, it is not financially sensible.
VTR does NOT mean you have to send everything tracked - far too many sellers think that is what it is all about, but it is not.
Royal Mail is the cheapest for your letters and Large Letters size items.

I’m no expert but I don’t think Royal Mail signed for is a tracked service. Why not use Amazon’s postage?

Signed for isn’t tracked, its just a delivery confirmation since no signatures are being taken.
I send mostly letters and large letters and I just send then 2nd class without a signature or tracking, they aren’t expensive though.

For low value you don’t need to send tracked.
If tracking essential you have royal mail tracked 24/48 or Hermes small packet that is tracked without signature.
The Hermes I have used, its intended for items that can be put through a letter box, i stopped using as they lost way too many of them.
