Amazon is intentionally misleading
I reported to Amazon that the buyer sent back an empty box.
What can I do? I sent pictures. I got the answer that I don't have to refund my money and it doesn't mean anything negative to my account.
Then after 36 days Amazon refunded my money and I got a negative answer. I reported to Amazon that I acted according to the instructions they wrote. But they rejected my appeal.
When will the intentional theft of customers end? The bigger problem is that I can't hold Amazon accountable for things written by Amazon. Because they don't keep their promises. More precisely, they lie.

The intentional theft of goods by 'customers' will not end any time soon. Amazon like it that way, as it generates more orders by the fraudsters. That means more sales commission for Amazon! Have you noticed that when a refund is made to the customer, you the seller are not refunded the commission that Amazon took on the sale. So Amazon are 'quids in' by letting fraud happen ... so they let it happen, the more the merrier. It is called 'aiding and abetting a crime'.

Did the buyer open an A-to-Z claim? Did you submit an appeal?
If you used Amazon’s Buy Shipping for the order, you might be eligible to file a SAFE-T claim to recover the cost.

What's even more disgusting is the zero cost to the thieves.
If they abuse the returns policy you pay for the return postage.
You also refund the outgoing postage.
So you end up paying 2 lots of postage for someone to steal from you.
I think that Amazon know it's a massive problem, and their SAFE-T won't help you at all. They imply you have some form of protection, until it comes to putting a hand in a pocket, then predictably Amazon are all copy/paste refusals.
I hate this company so much there are no words.
