Bank account document verification

Hello all,

I hope someone can help us out here.

It is taking months for our European seller account to get verified.

The one document they are hung up on is our bank account verification. We’ve sent them multiple different documents in different shapes and forms though each one gets rejected without a clear explanation regarding the problem.

Can someone clarify what account they want the information for?

  • Either our bank account that is used for the credit card we have on file. (This would be an international account, based out of the UK).
  • Or the Payoneer account that we are using to accept the Amazon payments.

Which one should we be sending a document for?

Thanks for your assistance!

We are having the same problem! I can not seem to get any answers from Amazon. The customer service team doesn’t have access to the information so they are zero help. I’ve never seen anything quite like this! Im starting to wonder if there is an actual verification team or if its an automated system. I’ve not gotten one response back from the actual verification team that wasn’t automated. Even when I send them details on what I think the problem is I’m getting nothing. We have supplied all accurate information and we have checked our account to make sure there isn’t an issue on our end or something that we have entered wrong. At this point I’m pretty sure it is something wrong with the Amazon System.I am sending emails , sending chats messages and calling … when they try to close the case because Customer Service will close the case after you speak to them (even when they don’t have an answer ) so be sure to go back into your case log and reopen it. Best of luck!

The problem is that you really need a UK based bank account or for Payoneer to supply some documentation to confirm the account details.

Hello… I just wondered if you’d sorted this out? I ask because I’m having the same problems and would love to know how (if) you resolved it. They keep rejecting my bank account verification. I’ve even got the bank manager to send an official letter containing all the info they require but it’s being rejected.

(I’m actually starting to be quite concerned about the amount of personal info I’e sent to them and how safe it is.)

From what I understand with the bank verification( I’m no expert!) you have to make sure that the bank address and details are the EXACT same as the registered name and address.

So if the account is in a company name then the bank letters have to have the company name not just the name of the person in charge of the company.

I hope that is useful or make sense!
