Dramatic sale drop due to one listing being hijack from a seller from abroad

I made 5 complaints since few weeks ago about a listing being hijacked, someone changed the brand name , removed all the page content and product information, bullet point, keywords making impossible for the customers to find my product, read the description or understand how to use it. Photos are the same, title remained the same, price and I am still the one and only seller that offer this item for sale ( there is no buy box ) . We have identified the brand a Chinese account that have hundreds of listings in UK under their brand name yet none of the listings appear to be from the same seller??? This is a massive fraud that affects hundreds of listings here in UK. Each listing from brand have another seller. How is this even possible? Brand in case does not appear on any of the products offered for sale on the product or packaging.

Since I have realised this activity on my listing I have opened 5 cases with Amazon: Case ID: 10426605032, 10426570242, 10427311112, 10427312732, 10380880602. Answers received from the customer support are ridiculous, copy paste of some nonsense brand registry links that takes you nowhere and even someone advised me to report my own listing and my account !!!!!!!

I have spend hours in phone calls everybody takes notes asks for the product photos where the brand is visible , IFU, product label and link to the manufacturer website. We are the only distributor of this brand here in the UK.

I've submitted all the information to show this is a mistake, however, I feel there is no help here and every day we are losing out on sales. Hoping someone will help here .

Thank you

Regards Laura

Hi,

I am sorry this happened to you. It is indeed very disheartening to watch your sales decrease and nothing you can do to correct. Maybe some of the admins can help @Spencer_Amazon@Julia_Amazon

My only suggestion is to try a product upload - maybe it will at least add the product description back.

I have tried brand change in the past and never manged to do it so I wonder how did this person managed to change yours, if we, with genuine reasons to change could not.

Hope this gets sorted soon!

Hi,

Firstly try only to have one Case ID open as it will speed the process up. Secondly try emailing managingdirector@amazon.co.uk this escalates your case.

It's crucial to make a brand registry before creating listings so that you can have greater control over editing.

If it has become impossible to edit your listing, and the seller support is not helping at all, there's one way to try:

1) delete your listing

2) recreate your listing a few hours later with its original ASIN, SKU, UPC, brand name, des, etc. by uploading a template file

Even though your template can be rejected due to brand name differences, you have to keep uploading the template file a few more times to try to override the incorrect information.

After uploading your template, look for your listing on your inventory page or the [Complete Your Drafts] page.

When the brand name is corrected successfully, contact seller support to make your listing active again if necessary.
