Violation for Inaccurate Categorization caused by Amazon.
We recently received "Inaccurate Categorization" policy violations. The crazy thing is the product in question was 100% created in the correct category but due to some necessary wording in the product title Amazon's wonderful automation misunderstood this wording and decided to change the category and then give us the violations. I have explained this several times in the appeal, but sadly as is often the case with Amazon the appeal gets denied in a matter of nano-seconds with no detail or further guidance. Can a mod please escalate this for me? I feel it would be dishonest of us to provide a plan of action to stop this happening again when in fact we did nothing wrong.

" Can a mod please escalate this for me?"
For a mod to see this you need to tag them in, otherwise they will not see the post.

Hello @Seller_fLViBrSW573Aj,
This is Abella from Amazon to assist you.
From the post above, I understand your concern about your account which the listings are flagged for incorrect categorization .
Sellers on Amazon must comply with the product detail page rules and follow classification requirements for listings.
When you choose a category for your products, make sure that you learn about the specific requirements and guidelines for selling in that category.
I notice that no ASIN has been shared. Could you please provide the ASIN and the current category you had selected. Once you share those details, I'll be better able to assist you.
If you wish to know more about the category requirements details click here.
If you need any further assistance, you can post here so that we or any of the sellers on forum can help you.
Regards,
Abella.
