please do not worry about newcomers. They have a habit of selling cheaper. Even if they don't, the customer wants to try the NEW arrival, though same product. It is a phase, you know it, you must have seen it in your 8 years of selling experience.
The new players will realise their profits/losses after one year of selling, not before that.
After Diwali, the sales is low, mostly.. for a while. It is a trend. It happens... it is nature of things..... everyone will have a different answer for this. But it still happens.

Same is the case for me.
I have been here in Amazon since 7.5 years,, but my sales has dropped like anything.
I am struggling to revive my account.
I have been trying all the strategy and tactics to increase sales, but all the promotion strategy is draining my profit.
Top of it, weight dimension audits are frustrating which is insane.
Inshort, none of the tactics are giving remarkable results.
Its my first bad experience phase in my amazon selling career..

Real problem is --- Issues with Amazon India Website
We have noticed when you search anything on amazon's india front page or app with filter department as "ALL" then only 7 pages are displayed.
But when you search in their respective categories then total of 400 pages are showing.
For eg. search keyword - dress on the mobile app or their website. you will see the difference
1. search dress with filter department as ALL.
2. search dress with filter department as CLOTHING & ACCESSORIES.
This is killing all sales. As buyer while searching may not be knowing their respective categories and when only 7 pages would be displayed then they won't purchase other seller's products.
Also, why would buyer be searching in their respective category. They would simply open app or website and would simply search in the box.
You may search and repeat with whatever product keywords, but the result would be same just 7 pages.
Your products would not be visible, running ads won't help. all money would be exhausted . till the time budget is there products would somehow be visible but after that?? when products would not appear as normal then how they would be searched and so no sale.
AMAZON IS A BIG SCAM AND THEY ARE CHEATING INDIAN SELLERS.
