Quantity variation

Hi all,

Quick question, if I post a product with variations: pack of 3 and pack of 5, they need to be packed as 3 and 5 with the right barcodes on the back when sent to Amazon?

Or do I need to send normally 1 item package and Amazon will send 3 of those to people that order 3 and 5 of those to people ordering 5?

It sound more realistic the first one as they will have different ASINs.

Just wanted to make sure as it is my first time having quantity variation.

Thank you.

Hi @Seller_ICaX6mAlQwby2,

Expanding on what @Seller_hOZNPw7G8FIjl mentioned:

So, when you're listing products on Amazon with various pack sizes, like packs of 3 versus packs of 5, you'll actually need to create separate listings for each pack size.

Each of these listings will have its own unique identifier known as an ASIN.

Then, you'll want to package and label each pack based on its quantity, and from there, Amazon Fulfillment centers will fulfill the orders.

Cheers, Ezra
