Dangerous Goods Policy / Borderline Insane?

a product was removed from sale last week with the claim it contains a prohibited ingredient. This ingredient was removed from the product several years ago.

The product passed FBA Hazmat and was selling FBA for the past year.

The reason given for the teams insistence it contained a prohibited ingredient was an old image of the label pre 2019.

Up to date photos of the label plus SDS provided and still no luck getting reinstated.

If you improve your product by changing an ingredient surely this doesn’t mean an entirely new ASIN needs to be created? That would be nuts!

I would have thought a change in the ingredients list would constitute it being a new improved product, with a new EAN so in that instance, yes a new ASIN should have been created.

Hello @Serenity_Hygiene1,

You could try to modify the atributes for that product, using the template for that specific category or on the Manage Inventory Page.

On the Inventory Page search for the product edit and under “compliance” you find the UN and the ingredients under “more details”

Regards
Nickolas
