My detail page changed to a different brand name

One of my product I run out of stock for 3 months due to pandemic, and now I have received my new shipment to restock, but in the process of creating shipment to amazon warehouse I found out my brand name has been changed from my trading name to a different name called BATEMEN w, I reported this violation to amazon and the detail page was removed from amazon catalogue. My problem now is that Amazon has refused to reinstate the Asin with my trading name, saying the asin is controlled by a brand registered seller, and I’m not a brand registered, and this is a product I have been selling since 2019.
Can anyone help me with any information that will help me in solving this problem?
Thanks

I suspect if you’re not brand registered then there’s nothing you can do, does the product itself have your brand on or could they be selling the same thing?

Potentially, the other seller has listed on the listing when you were OOS. During that time they may have added their brand (As you were not on brand registry) and thus made the listing “theirs” In amazons eyes.

Just because you created the listing, does not make it yours (Again, in amazons eyes)

I didn’t think you could change the brand details on a item?

Did you own the EAN number and create the listing yourself?

You may have created the page but you don’t own it once it’s been created - it’s owned by Amazon as it’s their catalogue. This is not eBay where each seller has their own catalogue page for each item they sell. As you know very well, on Amazon anyone selling the same product has to sell it on the same listing

What should not happen is for one of the sellers to be able to change the brand name (or add a brand name to a generic product). Have you tried reporting this using the “report abuse” link on your Account health page (not the most obvious place to look for it but other sellers have recently discovered it and it seems to work)?

It may be a glitch. This happened to me a few months ago.
Lots of back and forth for days with seller support refusing to help, then it miraculously went back to the correct brand name.

Just a quick question - Did you fill in the details page on the GS1 page for that EAN?
I have had this conversation with GS1 directly. They say once the product details are entered for an EAN then Amazon should check to ensure any catalogues changes on their system matches.
If the EAN belongs to you then you can report the item for incorrect EAN (as it using your EAN and prove to Amazon you own that EAN) and get the details amended that way.
Brand registry stops others from selling on the same listing if they do not have permission from the brand owner - it should not stop you being able to amend a listing that has incorrect details.
So instead of reporting the product for ‘Brand Name’ report for incorrect EAN, prove you own the EAN and send them what the details should be. By going down the ‘Brand Name’ is wrong route, all Amazon are doing is seeing if that brand is registered, then telling you it is so you cannot amend. Instead try going down the ‘this is my EAN and here is the proof’ route.

Even if you are brand registered with amazon, you can’t seem to stop this happening. I and another seller I know have had this happen and there appears to be no way to get it changed. The other seller this happened to even got a violation on his account for reporting the problem and was taken off the listing that he created, for a unique branded product that had a GS1 barcode and is brand registered.

I would look back for orders of that ASIN say in the last 365 days and it will usually show the item name as it was sold back then, screenshot, I used this previously as evidence.

Hi
The Product Detail Page is still live on Amazon DE. You can see the most likely culprit on the right in the buy box.
Screenshot as back up when asking SS to investigate - Good Luck.
