Provide Missing BOL number / invalid tracking ID

We’ve shipped many pallets to Amazon without any problems, but trying to book in the latest collection (using “Other carrier”), I’m getting stuck on the last page, where normally you just click save again to save the Shipment ID.

This time it comes up with “Invalid tracking ID”, and when you look at the shipping queue it says “Provide missing BOL number”.

I’m not doing anything different from previous, but I don’t know what we’re supposed to do now.

From 1st Nov, you have to provide tracking numbers for all fba shipments

We normally use PalletOnline, so do I I just ask them for the Carrier Name and Tracking Information then? Is it a manual process of having to ask them each time?

Info to help anyone else…

So I spoke with PalletOnline.co.uk and they said the BOL will become available for us a day or two after the pallet has been collected. We’ll have to login to get the info and then add it to the FBA shipment details in Amazon Seller.

I’m having a similar issue.

I asked my forwarder about the delivery note and they gave me a reference number, but when I entered where it says, “Pro/Freight Bill Number” it says the tracking ID is invalid.

I’m guessing that a Freight bill number isn’t enough and what they really want is specifically a PRO number (whatever that is).

I’m also guessing that I won’t get the PRO until the goods actually arrive in the UK and my forwarder supplies more details about which carrier they are using to deliver to FBA.

Towards the bottom, the screen shot you included it says, "View detailed instructions here", but when you go there it seems to indicate that it is the seller who should provide the carrier with a PRO number, not the other way round. Yet they don’t explain what a PRO number is or how the seller is supposed to obtain one.

So much for their detailed instructions.
