VAT Exemption Not Showing Despite Meeting All Criteria (UK LTD)

I’m hoping someone here can shed some light on an issue I’ve been struggling with.
I run a UK-based LTD company and earn well under the £85,000 VAT threshold. As such, I meet all VAT exemption requirements under UK law. However, despite this, the option to enable VAT-exempt auto receipts is not showing in my Amazon Seller Central account.
I’ve double-checked everything:
My account is correctly set up as a UK LTD.
My annual turnover is well below the VAT registration threshold.
I'm not VAT registered (nor am I required to be at this stage).
I'm not storing inventory outside the UK or doing anything that would trigger VAT obligations.
I’ve contacted Amazon support multiple times, but unfortunately, I’ve been getting vague or scripted responses that haven’t helped at all. They either redirect me to general VAT help pages or say they’ll “escalate,” with no follow-up or resolution.
Has anyone else run into this issue? Is there anything I might be missing in my Seller Central settings that could be blocking the VAT exemption option from appearing?
Any advice would be appreciated—this has been frustrating, and I’m just trying to stay compliant without registering unnecessarily.

What are you actually expecting from not being vat-registered?
There is no such thing as being VAT-exempt any more. You will be charged VAT on Amazon's fees whether you are registered or not. You can't avoid that. This has been going on for around a year.
Is there anything else that you are thinking of that I am missing?

Are you using a virtual office? i.e. one where many companies are registered, but do not carry on any business there. If so, and this is the one registered on Companies house and Amazon, this causes problems.

Someone posted a little while ago that Amazon are no longer accepting applications for the "VAT exempt" issue of receipts. I think they even posted a message from Amazon - should be findable in a forum search.
