FBA Fees small items

Hi, I am new to selling on amazon. For sale I have a kitchen cleaning product in a 500ml spray bottle. Is it normal for amazon to charge £2.99 Fba fee per item which is stated on the revenue calculator? Surely selling smaller cheaper items you would loose money if the charges are similar to the price of the product

Yes you do which is why you dont sell them via fba or in fact on amazon as posting RM will cost most of the purchase price too

Hello! @Seller_1IxGjSFhcv4QY

Thank you for taking the time to use the forums. I see that @Seller_RlZVPg3d6ZUGP has provided you guidance on this, hopefully, other members can contribute too.

We have seen experiences from other sellers where they can make good profits selling low value/small items, but it all depends on the volume of items being sold, if the volumes or items being sold are higher, you can definitely make a profit.

Best wishes.
