Amazon use the old fashioned BACS batch file system and has not updated to Faster Payments so your money once released take 5-7 days to your account.
EBay is 8am Next morning for sales up to 7pm the previous day (Sat and Suns paid Monday) as "faster Payments" under 2012 UK Banking laws
I don't sell on ONbuy or Etsy but other says these pay Next working day. Amazon are long way behind in this and NOT industry Standard at all.
It would be nice if they made their 2 weekly payment run "Faster Payments" as they had the money long enough and earnt quite a few pennies in Interest at our expense

You should still be able to manually disburse every 24 hours. Do you have a "Request Payment" button?
