Buyer Fraud - Safe-T Claim

I'm having issues with my Safe-T claim. I sold a new Yeti cup. The buyer received it. Then over a week after it was delivered claimed it was delivered damaged. They started a return and sent back a used Yeti cup. They kept all the Yeti accessories that were sent with the one that I sold. (Identification band, stickers, etc.) The returned cup has grime on the lid, smells of coffee, and the buyer affixed her and her husband's name and phone number on the bottom of the cup. (Like when you take your cup to work or you what would do with a kids lunch box to identify it.) I filed a Safe-T claim like I was directed to do. I provided all this information and photos. Then Safe-T claims awarded me a $9.50 restocking fee for an item that sold for $47.50. This is very clearly a case of fraud and return abuse. I should be compensated for the full sale price of the item. This is a pretty clear case of return abuse given the information. No one that receives a damaged item that they are going to return is going to affix their personal information to it. They clearly returned a old used cup.

It would be very nice if a mod or somebody can actually help with this?

Hey @Seller_R1E4mOXsr1BJb,

I appreciate you utilizing the forums!

After reviewing your SAFE T Claim, it looks like after your second appeal the claims team provided you with a full refund. Please let me know if this is not the case.

Also, for future reference I will share here best practices on how to effectively appeal a SAFE T Claim.

Cheers,

Joey
