My product is out of stock
Hi, I was selling my own branded product and throughout christmas the sales went crazy, having 46 sales in one day and normally before christmas I would be getting 3-5 sales a day. I didn't expect the sales to increase this much so ran out of stock. They should be in stock by the end of the week, having gone out of stock last week. The BSR was 5k in its category now since being out of stock it is 128k, when it goes back in stock will the BSR gone down or will I need to use lots of advertising for it to go down again?

I would assume you lose your Best Seller Rank as other items will overtake it whilst you are out of stock.

Depends on the category etc but assume you have to start again

In future, if this happens again.
Gradually raise your price rather than going fully out of stock.
