I have been asked to upload my most recent annual return showing beneficial owners of the company.
It is no longer required to submit these every year as the confirmation statement has replaced them. My most recent annual return was 2015. I have tried sending this document and my most recent confirmation statement but they are both getting rejected.
They reject the confirmation statement as it does not detail the beneficial owners and they reject the annual return because it is not the most recent (it actually is).
Has anyone else had to deal with this and how did you resolve it?

I had this issue last year and the only way around it was to pay for a new confirmation statement from companies house.
However I had to amend one of the shareholders in order to get the shareholders onto the confirmation statement. I added my middle name and this was accepted by Amazon when I resubmitted it.
I couldn’t find any other way of submitting the required information.
