FAO Account Health Mods - Account Registration Issues
Hi guys,
Two days ago I registered for an Amazon Seller Central account (I am a limited company that was registered in June 2022.)
After I had entered the basic personal details it prompted me to fill in the “Identity Information” under the "
Business Information" section. I uploaded all documents I had regarding my Limited company. I uploaded the Certificate of Incorporation Memorandum of Association or Statement of Capital on the last page.
I also uploaded the Model Articles of Association that my company adopted when registering with Companies House. (I downloaded this as a pdf and uploaded the generic Model Article as I can not find the model article that has my company name on anywhere.)
Today I have done the Identity Video Verification process and they said they would get back to me however I have just received an email that states
“We were unable to verify the information you provided when registering for a Selling on Amazon payment account and, as a result, your Selling on Amazon payment account could not be opened. Unfortunately, this means that you will not be able to continue to sell on Amazon.”
Also, on the account info section on my seller central account it states “Account Status: Invalid”
Any ideas? Will waiting for a response about the video call verification be worth it or should I submit an appeal now eventhough I have no more documents to provide?

maybe just give it a day or two? i also just applied recently and had my video interview Tuesday. i then got email yesterday saying my account has been suspended etc. looking similar to your message. i got an email today saying Your submission has been reviewed and your account has been reactivated. so looking good to go.

UPDATE: I have just had an email:
Your submission has been reviewed and your account has been reactivated.
Please follow the steps described in your plan of action to prevent future issues.
However my "Account Status " still “Invalid” and I still get this:
I have opened a case with this new information: 8297735562.

After a very stressful few weeks. My account is now fully open and first shipment is on its way to Amazon.
For all people who are looking through threads trying to find help with opening an account, my one piece of advice is saying that persistence beats resistance. I messaged Amazon Seller on twitter and they escalated my case higher up the chain and within a few days my account was open.
Feel free to message me on here with any questions, I’ll be happy to help where I can. However, @The_Little_Shop and @JillyB1 have been the most help and have a wide range of knowledge and I owe a lot of the process of getting my account open to them!
