Claims for lost items for the shipment sent using Buy Shipping

Hi all,

Do anyone faced an issue when customer reports non receipt of the item more that a month after shipment date, and the copy of the label is not available to reprint from order page.

How to get the copy of the shipping label bough using Buy Shipment after this period?

I have few customers who reported non receipt and i need a shipemtn number ( QR code) to file a claim, but cannot find it anywhere. Any suggestions?

Thanks

I assume you mean with RM ? - I use Buy Shipping and when I take my items to the PO I get a POP (proof of posting) receipt, and it is that is what you need to file a claim with RM. The barcode number is on the POP.

You can type that into the RM site to see if it has been delivered, as long as was scanned. If it shows as delivered then RM will not refund, and it could be your customer trying it on ?!

When filing the claim with RM thru their online claim centre, if you don't have the QR code just leave it blank. Put the recipients details in manually. I use a screenshot of the Amazon sales record as proof of value, so they pick up its an Amazon order. I claim for around 10 lost parcels every month and I have QR codes for half, the other half are from buyers claiming non delivery from months beforehand. The account with RM is obviously kept live and they can confirm all the details their end if they know its an Amazon order.

RM refunds for loss are dealt with quickly - I do all my claims at the end of the month and usually get a bunch of cheques and books of stamps around a week later. My loss rate with RM is currently running around 0.5% - so every 200 parcels results in one getting lost. I send nearly everything bog standard second class post as the value is always under £20 so not worth bothering with tracking etc.

Hi

Don't know if this will help you in respect of future orders but we screen grab every label after being generated & save into folders.
