A misbranded ASIN

As per our investigation, we have found that this ASIN has been identified as a misbranded ASIN, the brand on the detail page does not match the brand of the product.

Due to the misbranding associated with this product, it is not eligible for reinstatement and that all products need to be listed under the correct brand that is tied to the product in question.

Hey guys, what should we do to reinstate the listing? Thanks a ton!!!

Just ask the "Letter of Authorization" from the REAL brand (that one on the product label) and create a new listing with the correct brand name in the title.

Let's see if someone has a better (shadier...) idea. Normally they won't tell you.

Hi @BOOMUS,

In order for us to better assist, we would need a bit more information from you. Please consider the following:

- If the ASIN is showing as a violation on your Account Health Dashboard, what is the exact nature of said violation?

- When selling the ASIN, did you create your own listing or did you attach your ASIN to an already existing listing?

- Do you know how and/or why this misbranding occurred?

- If you have already taken action on the ASIN, please share those actions here in the thread along with any response from Amazon you have received regarding those submissions.

Please continue to reach out the community for further assistance.

Regards,

Troy
