GS1 EAN Barcodes on items

I've been using ASIN barcodes on FBA items until now but I want to switch to EAN barcodes. Can I use any barcode generator to use Barcode images (like Canva) on items and would Amazon be okay to use EAN barcodes?

yes, so long as it scans correctly, i just use a barcode font for my dymo printer

I use online-barcode-generator DOT net which works perfectly. Just make sure they are properly registered codes, that match the brand name.
Choose EAN-13 and set the scale to large in the "more options", I then export to png and paste it in the product labelling artwork, however you could just print an additional label and stick it on the existing product.
