Amazon seller won't accept language of my self-published book
I have self-published a book and am trying to list it on Amazon. I have delisted and relisted several times but every time it says there is information missing - the language.
I had chosen the language, clicked ‘save and finish’ about 30 times now. Every time I get the message that the language is missing.
I have tried choosing several languages (it’s a phrase book with different languages in) but every time I still get the message that my book cannot be listed until I tell it what language it’s in. I then choose the language again but get sent back to the same error page.
This is driving me mad. I have been messaging customer support for the last week and they just keep telling me to add the language - they do not understand that I HAVE added the language over and over again, the system just won’t list it for some reason.
I have even deleted the whole lot and got my tech-savvy son to start a new listing from scratch. He has got exactly the same problem - it says ‘Fix product’ - ‘edit details’ - language is missing. He chose ‘English’, clicked ‘save and finish’, then got the same message - ‘language is missing’.
Can anybody please help? I am in tears here after a week of getting nowhere through the FAQs and Amazon customer advisers

Does the book have an ISBN issued by Nielsen, the UK ISBN agency?
If so, Nielsen will automatically upload the book details to the Amazon catalogue, so you do not have to create your own listing for it. In fact, creating your own listing just means an unnecessary duplicate
Search the catalogue for the ISBN (numbers only, no spaces, eg 9781234567890) to see if it is already on there
When the Nielsen listing appears, you just add your stock to it. On your seller account page, go to Manage Inventory, then Add a product. Type in the ISBN and the book details will appear. Fill in the boxes for your selling price, quantity (number of copies you have for sale), condition (New) and untick the boxes for any despatch method or places that you don’t want to use. You must always have UK Standard but you can choose whether to offer UK Expedited, Europe etc
