Cancelling Orders
Hi,
I’ve been away from Amazon for many years and currently going through the verification process and re-opening my account.
What is the policy on cancelling orders? Problem transactions, such as:
Incomplete customer address,
" I need this for tomorrow at latest, or I want a refund" requests.
Unrealistic requests etc.
Do our selling accounts get punished for cancelling orders?

Yes. You can only Cancel orders without any metric risk where the customer has requested a cancellation. Any other reason will impact your Pre Fulfilment Cancellation Metric., which has a target of under 2.5% over a rolling 7 day period.
