Parent child variation showed as a independent listing

I created two color variations for my listing and after i got my ASIN, when i open my parent product name it is not showing me the variations. The child variations are not merged under the parent listing. I contacted amazon seller support and they mentioned that they couldn't help me because they said i need to have inventory. i have also tried to fix the problem by uploading variation wizard spreadsheet but the problem is not fixed.
