Unauthorized Seller on My Listing

I discovered that another seller is offering a product under my listing, which is under my brand. Technically, this shouldn't be possible because I am the sole owner of this brand, and I have not granted anyone permission to sell products under my brand.

I reported this issue to Amazon Support, but I keep receiving standard, pre-prepared responses without anyone thoroughly addressing the problem.

Amazon will be the first to tell you that no one owns a listing. Even if you have it brand registered. There are steps.

I just finished removing 100 listings for a brand based out of Sweden. I had to do the detective work.

I was able to find out that the product was actually copied exactly by a distributor on 1688.

You can probably guess that all of the sellers I removed were Chinese. While this is not illegal in China, its illegal to sell these products in the USA, which is why all of my claims were accepted.

This is not the end of the story. Some of these sellers have tricks that they do like coming off listings or faking invoices. You have to react as it comes up. If you are not familiar with these processes, the idea here would be to train up on these processes.

Hello @Seller_LZwpJ4i9SF48G

My name is Sandy from the Community manager team here on forums.

Amazon's policies allow any seller to list items for sale on an ASIN so long as the intellectual property accurately represents the item being sold and has not been illegally reproduced. This includes intellectual property for which you are the rights owner.

If you believe that the product was illegally reproduced, please complete a test buy and report through the Report a Violation tool or Report Abuse tool.

Thank you,

Sandy
